We came 6th in Round one, but is wasn't for not trying, there were only 50 points between 1st and 6th which means it was a very tight gala.
Big thanks to all swimmers that swam at Market Drayton Speedo Round 1. I asked you to fight for every inch of water and that’s what you did. Even when faced with defeat you fought for every point with passion and determination. That’s what CHAMPIONS are made off. We are PROUD of you all. Dil |
Results for round 2 are now on the Speedo site and our swimmers results are here.
It was quite disappointing that some members of the team were "no shows", this put extra pressure on the team, some swimmers had to swim up and some had to swim lots.
The last round of Speedo is on DECEMBER 8th, please keep an eye on the web site for the team sheet and let us know as soon as possible if you can't swim, finding out on Friday that you can't swim on Saturday is not very helpful.
